West Australian Wildflowers

West Australian Wildflower EssencesFor thousands of years before we arrived in Western Australia, the Bibbulmun Aboriginal People lived in the south west of Western Australia and were surrounded by the prolific and year round blossoming of Western Australian wildflowers.

The tribe leaders and healers would conduct healing ceremonies where a person was laid in a pit of earth covered with coals and sprinkled with water and specially chosen wild flowers. The end result - A person who was afraid would gain courage. An angry person would find peace.

Understanding Your Life Energy

In order to get the most from Pranic Healing, we first need to understand the nature of our energy system and how important life energy - Prana Energy - is to our body and our mind and how it affects our overall physical health and well-being. Pranic Healing is based on two simple laws; the law of self-recovery and the law of life energy.

Law of Self-Recovery

Our body’s natural ability to heal itself is amazing. I know, I’ve said that already but it is worth saying again. If you have a wound or a burn, it will repair and heal all by itself in a matter of days, even if you don’t apply an antibiotic. It's the same with viral infections like coughs and colds. Even with all the advancements in modern medicine, there’s still no treatment or cure for the common cold. Our body does all the repair work and we usually recover in a week or two.

Law of Life Energy

For life to exist, it must have life energy, Prana. It's our life force, it's what keeps our body alive and healthy. This invisible bio-energy, subtle but pervasive, is vital to us all.

Pranic Healing PerthThe natural condition of the body’s Prana is balanced, but when there is too much or too little, the body becomes unhealthy and unable to function properly, eventually showing symptoms of illness.

Prana is not new; it’s been discussed for centuries by different cultures. The word Prana is a Sanskrit word that means life force but it has many names. Referred to by the Chinese as ‘Chi’, it is also called ‘Ruach’ or the Breath of Life in Hebrew. In Greek it is known as `Pneuma` and in Polynesian `Mana’.

Children have more life energy than we do as adults. Children are a lot more active, they are always on the go, morning to night, hardly getting tired at all. And when suffering from a bone fracture, who heals faster? Children of course. The broken bone of a child heals very fast while that of an elderly person heals very slowly, sometimes not at all.

Three sources of Prana Energy - Solar, Air and Ground

Solar Prana — Comes from sunlight and also by drinking water exposed to sunlight. It invigorates the whole body and promotes good health. Prolonged exposure to the sun, however, is harmful because of its potency.
Air Prana — Is absorbed through breathing and soaked up directly by the energy centres of our bioplasmic body, the Chakras. (I’ll explain what this means in a moment.) More air Prana can be absorbed by deep slow rhythmic breathing than by short shallow breathing. After some training, you’ll learn it can also be absorbed through the pores of the skin. I can show you how to do this.
Ground Prana — Is absorbed through the soles of your feet, automatically and unconsciously. Walking barefoot increases the amount of ground Prana absorbed by the body. You can learn to consciously draw in more ground Prana and increase your vitality, capacity to do more work, and ability to think more clearly.

 

Water absorbs Prana from all three areas; the sun, the air and the ground, as do plants, trees, animals and us - people. Although we also obtain Prana from the food we eat, fresh food contains more Prana than preserved food. Prana can, and does, project from one person to another. People with an excess of Prana tend to make the people around them feel much better and livelier. However, those who are depleted tend to unconsciously absorb Prana from other people. You may have encountered someone who tends to make you feel tired or drained for no apparent reason at all.

Certain trees exude an excess of Prana and tired or sick people can benefit from lying down or resting underneath these trees. You can learn to consciously absorb Prana from these trees through the palms of your hands. When doing this, your body tingles and becomes numb because of the tremendous amount of Prana it absorbs. This skill can be quickly learned after only a few sessions of practice. Would you like to try?

During bad weather or the change of seasons, many people get sick, not only because of the change in temperature but also because of the decrease in solar and air Prana. It is at this time many people feel mentally and physically sluggish and become susceptible to infectious diseases. You can counteract this by consciously absorbing Prana from the air and the ground.

 


Science Meets Spirituality

Our whole body is composed of two parts; the visible physical body, and the invisible energy body we call the bioplasmic body.

The visible physical body is what we see and touch, what we’re most familiar with. Over the years we have acquired considerable knowledge about the physical body and there’s no doubting the benefits modern medicine has given us through major advancements in the treatment of illness and disease.

What we also know is there is an energy that exists within our body. We refer to this energy as life energy or our bioplasmic body.

The bioplasmic body is that invisible luminous energy body that encompasses the visible physical body and extends beyond it. Traditionally, clairvoyants call this energy the ‘etheric body’ or ‘etheric double’. This extremely persuasive energy body affects our physical well-being, our emotions, our ability to handle stress, our relationships, even down to our finances.

The Aura

There are many parts to the bioplasmic body, probably the most well-known is the Aura.

Some people are naturally able to see Auras and what they usually see is a coloured glowing area around a person. When you see the Aura of a healthy person, you’ll see a glowing field of white light and pure colours. However, when the Aura of an unhealthy person is studied, it is often seen as being depleted, congested, or appearing tangled, torn or dirty.

Pranic Healing and the AuraThe health of the physical body is reflected in the health of the Aura so it will make sense when I say; "by treating the physical body the Aura responds and becomes healthy". Probably the most exciting part of all this is that the process works both ways. When you treat the Aura, the physical body responds. It's that simple. Probably one of the most influential reasons I started my journey in Pranic Healing was I discovered that physical ailments first appear as energetic disruptions in the bioplasmic body before they manifest as problems in the physical body. I learned that in some cases disease and illness was preventable with Pranic Healing. It was truly an “ahhh’ moment in my life.

Seeing an Aura requires sensitivity of the eyes and to read the condition of an Aura requires a certain level of clairvoyance. Not everyone has this gift but with technological advancements, it has been made possible to photograph the Aura using a process called Kirlian photography. This reinforces what people who see Auras have been saying all along.

The Chakras

When people with exceptional clairvoyant abilities study a person's Aura, they see the appearance of energy centres that contain a series of pulsing, spinning balls of coloured lights. These are called Chakras.

Pranic Healing and the ChakrasChakras are the controlling centres of the energy body.

The word Chakra means energy disc, vortex, or wheel. There are seven Chakras positioned from the base of your spine to the top of your head. Each plays a key role in your body’s energy, your life and your overall well-being.

The chakras are extremely important in Pranic Healing. They, like the Aura, can become depleted, congested or dirty, and when this happens the physical health of the associated organs is either already diseased, or prone to disease. There are many recorded cases of people feeling healthy, only to have a Pranic Healer suggest they get a certain part of their body checked by a medical doctor. This has resulted in early diagnosis of conditions that might have been much harder to treat if left to develop to the point where the patient was feeling symptoms.

 


Let's Go Deeper

By now you’ll have learnt that Pranic Healing is a combination of two laws; Self Recovery and Life Energy and you’ll also have learnt a little bit about the bioplasmic body. I hope that this short introduction will help make what I’m about to say, a complex definition of Pranic Healing a bit easier to understand.

"Pranic Healing is a method that assists our natural healing process by increasing life energy, Prana Energy in our bioplasmic body. It helps you to absorb Prana into your bioplasmic body and distribute it through and into your physical body, your muscles, organs, glands, and so on. There are no drugs or medicines, no electronic machines, not even any physical contact. Pranic Healing doesn’t need any of that, it works on your bioplasmic body and therefore indirectly on your physical body. But, its effect on your physical body is remarkable."

Stress and anxiety are familiar words to us all. We go through stages in our lives where either or both affect us in some way and to some degree. It’s how we deal with them that makes the difference.

Our world is fast, fun and exciting and, for most of us, we want it all. We live in a material world and a throwaway society, where we strive our hardest to own everything we think will make us better and happier, like that brand new house in the magazine, the fancy car, and the latest toys for the kids.

We end up putting way too much pressure on ourselves and pushing ourselves too far financially and emotionally, both at work and at home. Inevitably, at some stage, we end up overwhelmed or stressed out and all this excess stress triggers negative emotions, worry, anxiety and feelings of disappointment, frustration and unhappiness. We’re tired all the time, irritable, get headaches, muscle pains and don’t sleep well, which makes dealing with the next day harder and all the more exhausting.
